I usually never get my nails done, and when I do, I normally only get a pedicure. But I had a sneaking suspicion that my boyfriend was going to propose, and my nails were short and NOT great looking! I have reservations about acrylics, but was happy to see they have press on options! I'm not even sure how many salons offer press on nails, but was pleasantly surprised they had this service. They were patient and answered all questions I had. The manicure and pedicure was beyond my expectations! This place is clean, quiet, and inviting. Kim did an absolutely fantastic job. It's been two weeks and my nails still look fantastic! And I of course, said yes! Thank you for helping make the special occasion even better! ~ Amanda H

I tried this place this morning and I had a fantastic experience. The salon is very new and stylish and the staff are great, and I loved the added convenience of booking my appointment online. I normally only get basic dip nails (short, round, neutral colors) which are easy to do quickly with a few imperfections, but Vyvy took her time and make mine look PERFECT. I am so happy with how they turned out and I cannot stop admiring them. I mentioned that I didn’t like how my nails usually look so short and fat, but I have trouble typing when they’re long, and she suggested a shape that elongated my nails without impacting how I type at all. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I should have done a review sooner! They are kind of new.. I went in bc I was close and had just gotten my nails done somewhere else days before, and they were breaking already. So I went in for a nail repair. I asked for tips, yet the tech asked if he could do it “a better way for MY NAILS?” I said of course. Well he built the nails out of acyclic and THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! Still are almost 2 MONTHS later! I’m waiting on these to fall off to start a nail treatment on real nails(they haven’t even started cracking yet). But I WILL continue getting pedicures here until my nails are in better shape. I was reluctant at first but the owner quickly made me feel comfortable and at ease. The young lady that did the pedicure didn't not speak English but she was looking for non verbal cues. She noticed if I felt pain or if she was meeting my expectations. If she didn't understand me, she asked someone to help her. I only wish that she understood what a great job she did and that I was extremely satisfied and happy with the service she provided. I decided to tip her very well with cash instead of putting it on my credit card so she could receive instant gratification for a job very well done. Thank you and I will be coming back! ~ Paula W

Today was my first visit to this salon and it did not disappoint. It was easy to schedule an appointment and they even took me a few minutes early. It is very stylish and clean. Everyone is very friendly. Long was the stylist I chose. He is exceptional, I would not ask for anyone else. He does everything with care and professionalism. I paid the same price as I did at another salon and got a few extras that made it all worth it, to include paraffin and a stone massage. I will definitely be back for all my pedicures and Long will be the guy. Try out Pretty Nails, you won’t be disappointed. ~ detlegall

I am completely in love with this place! The customer service is always impeccable. They do such a good job fitting you in for an appointment that works for you despite how much business they constantly have. I brought my mother in with me a few weeks ago—she is elderly and handicapped—Jenny met us at the door and helped her all the way to the chair. Everyone made her feel so special. I see Michelle regularly and I swear she knows me better than I know myself. She always knows exactly what color I’m looking for (even when my description is less-than-helpful). She works with my busy schedule and gets me in and out of there with beautiful nails in no time at all. Also, I highly recommend gel polish for your toes! Michelle talked me into it a week before I was taking a beach trip to Miami and despite the sand and my active lifestyle I have not had a single chip in my French for going on 3 weeks. I have never been here before today. I admit I had quite the shock factor when they popped my old nails off vs. soaking them off. It didn’t hurt but it’s definitely the first experience like that I’ve had. They were so patient with me and flexible to my design. I had Kenny and he was just amazing. On top of that I paid $20 less than usual and they did removal, after a tip I paid $70. I got Ombré medium coffin nails with an accent finger. Over all I have found my new nail salon, the prices are justified by the beautiful designs and the customer service was great 👍🏽. ~ Emma F

I’ve been driving 45 minutes for years to get my pedicures here. Jason did my pedicure today, and it was THE BEST one I’ve had! I had a short dress on, and he placed a towel over my knees without me even asking; That was so kind. I let him know that the wax always makes me nervous because my feet are sensitive, and he made sure it was cooled down before putting my feet into the bags. He went out of his way with a few other things to give me a great experience, and I let him know upon leaving that he was fantastic. I’ll request him for next time! ~ Amy S

This place is consistently great! I have had my nails, toes, and eyebrows done here and am happy with all services. I've been happy with other nail salons in town, but haven't had luck with consistency with multiple visits. I've been here six times so far, and each time, the tech have done an awesome job. Most frequently, I get gel manicures and the last one did not chip in the month between visits. I just went again and introduced a friend, and she agreed that they have a great level of detail. My go-to nail salon in Gainesville! Pretty Nails was suggested to me by a co-worker and I have been loyal ever since my first visit! The nail techs have always taken their time with each manicure I've received, never rushing, and ensuring that the polish comes out clean and even. I've never had any issues with any special requests I've had, as they always ensure that my nail shape and size turn out exactly how I wanted! Pretty Nails has numerous colors to choose from, both from gel to powder, and they recently ordered an OPI collection as well! In addition to their clean manicures, I've also never had any issues with their scheduling process. They are always adequately staffed and my preferred nail techs have ample availability when I schedule in advance. Finally, the salon is always well kept and cleanliness is definitely one of their many qualities that give them 5 out of 5 stars! Pretty Nails makes my self-care days easy and I always look forward to coming back for a fresh manicure! ~ Amanda C

This is the second time I’ve had Bella as my nail tech. I get acrylic on my natural nails with a gel overlay. My first set didn’t chip and grew out nicely. I was able to go 3 weeks but most definitely could have pushed it out to 4 weeks. Bella does an amazing job. I show her a picture and she nails it! My spring flower nails looks great. My pedicure was also very relaxing and they turned out great. This place is clean and everyone is professional. Excellent service. I highly recommend you try it out. ~ Tiffany K

I'm a guy, and this was the first time I've ever been in a nail salon. I'm sure other guys go. I broke my thumb and had a cast from my forearm to my fingers that made me functionally one-handed. Among other things, I was unable to trim my nails on my hands or feet. I walked in without an appointment and was seen in 5 minutes. The staff and the technician who trimmed my nails were friendly and professional. The salon itself was exceptionally clean. My nails look a heck of a lot better than when I've trimmed them myself. Good Day! I was browsing for a new nail salon, looking for style, affordable and great customer service. After 1 phone call early Thursday afternoon my heart was set, with open availability and nail techs were ready to take walk ins. Nick was my nail tech and did amazing! He listened, and was very patient with his art work. He took his time on my cuticles and buffed them gentle… not rough like my past experiences. The atmosphere was chill and comfortable. 10/10, I highly recommended and will return soon! ~ Jasmine D

Came to Pretty nails and spa for the first time today with my daughter. Ryan did an amazing job on my chrome French, literally perfection! Also, I had my 3 year olds nails and toes painted and they were very kind and patient. Awesome place with awesome staff, will absolutely be back! It’s hard to find good nail people. Absolutely amazing experience at Pretty Nails & Spa! The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive from the moment I walked in. The salon was clean, relaxing, and welcoming. OP was meticulous & precise with my French dip manicure. My nails aren’t in great shape at the moment and he was incredibly gentle with the removal and preparation before executing. He also did a perfect consultation, making sure he gave a petite white tip (I know this varies quite a lot due to personal preference). I also opted for a subtle pearl chrome finish so it didn’t look too modern yet had an extra kick of shine. Classic & stunning! ~ Virginia H

I have been coming here close to a year now, always get my nails done with Michelle she is the best nail tech , the place is amazing , I love the atmosphere , it’s always very clean, awesome customer service.. This place is phenomenal. Made an appointment the night before online, which is so convenient, for a pedicure and SNS dipping for my nails and was not disappointed! I have tried so many nail salons in Gainesville and this was by far the best. My nail technician paid attention to every detail in my pedicure and SNS nails, I appreciate it so much. So thankful to have finally found a new nail salon! I was shopping at the Publix that recently opened when I saw this nail salon and decided to stop in. They sat me right away, everyone was so nice, it’s extremely clean and really such a gorgeous salon. They even helped me pick a color for my dip manicure & I love it! Jenny was great! I got Dip with tips and a deluxe gel pedicure. The salon was very clean and welcoming. Great color options! Pricing is very fair. UPDATE: I am very very rough on my nails and usually it’s difficult to get my nails to last 2 weeks. I am happy to report 2 weeks later that my nails are still going strong. I don’t have any lifts yet! About to call Jenny to book an appointment! ~ Sarah R

The place was so nice! The service was excellent I got exactly what I wanted for a fair price. And it was so kind, my friend and I were talking about my birthday plans for the next day and the owner overheard and gave me a small gift card to use on my next visit since it was my birthday! Pretty Nails saved me from a horrible experience with another shop! I came to the establishment after being cut up from another salon and needed a mani/pedi quickly. Pretty Nails got me in with no waiting. Ryan was an amazing nail tech that made sure to turn around my experience and I left super happy. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly.
